‘I like abstract art because it is ambiguous and teasing, not willing to immediately share its story with the viewer. It will challenge my mind to really read and fathom the story behind it through unrecognisable objects. It is the rollercoaster of the art world; full of excitement, inviting me to stand longer and visualise its stories based on the colours, lines, figures, and shapes it has gifted and made available to you.’- Maria
